Dealertrack, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Sr. Business Services Specialist/Courier/Notary with Auto Title experience to join our Alexandria team.

Under general supervision, the Sr. Business Services Specialist performs a variety of office support and technical tasks relating to notarizing documentation relating to the purchase or sale of motor vehicle transactions and tax collection; DMV or other automotive or loan financing exposure is especially helpful. Notary duties will be performed either in one of our local offices or at the client’s site (auto dealership). 

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus after completion of 90 days with Dealertrack for offers of employment through 8/31/22.

Your Role:

  • Process motor vehicle title, registration, driver’s license, identification, and no insurance reinstatement transactions

  • Receive payments of titles and vehicle registrations.

  • Accept tax payments and file documentation.

  • Enter and retrieve information on computer and answer multi-line phone system.

  • Prepare and issues motor vehicle titles, registrations, validations, and license plates.

  • The Sr. Business Services Specialist may also be involved in daily cash-out process, daily shipping process, scanning and saving all motor vehicle records to the computer.

  • Performs a variety of office support tasks, including answering the telephone, recording and forwarding messages, answering questions in-person and over the telephone about sales taxes, driver’s license, reinstatements, motor vehicle, and entering this data into the computer. Follow up phone calls to customers may be necessary.

  • Deliver great customer service to clients and the public with providing support to all aspects of the motor vehicle title, registration, and licensing process  

  • Examines documents submitted by customers for motor vehicle titles and registrations. Determines authenticity of documents. 

  • Data entry of all information from the Vehicle Application (VEH) to the Department of Motor Vehicles (OMV) system to print vehicle registration; including making sure the correct transaction is processed.

  • Proofreading all information from (VEH) including verification of taxes and fees, license plate, lienholder information, owner's information and mileage to the vehicle's registration.

  • Prepares daily reports using designated forms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Louisiana Notary Public License – statewide or parish commission for Alexandria area

  • Highschool Diploma or GED

  • Five (5) years of experience in an office setting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills a must.

  • Organizational skills a must.

  • Ability to build relationships a must. 

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service a must.

  • Strong business acumen required. 

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word.

  • Other duties as needed or required

  • May be required to drive to clients’ locations to perform duties therefore a clean motor vehicle driving record is required.
