Description

Lead Client Resolution Specialist is an integral member of our auction team that helps problem solve escalated concerns of our clients. This newly created market position is designed to help resolve complex or long outstanding scenarios. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency, is energized by problem solving, is pleasantly persistent, and is rewarded knowing they bring peace to our clients. 
This new role is an elevated position at the auction that receives priority above day-to-day activities. It is viewed as a position to springboard your career into a leadership role in the future. The Lead is ideal for team members looking for a new challenge, looking to strengthen their understanding of the business, and exposure to other locations without relocation. The position is a hybrid role allowing for in office, and potential travel to other auctions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a single point of contact for escalated client concerns involving multiple locations and departments

  • Partners with department leaders at multiple locations to resolve matters quickly

  • Research problems and brings the concerns to the appropriate decision maker

  • Partners with decision maker to ensure resolution is completed timely

  • In time, empowered to make decisions to resolve some matters independently

  • Identifies patterns in escalations and makes recommendations to auction and shared services leadership

  • Reports to the Sr Manager, Front Office

  • Cases are received by auction leadership or from the shared services teams (ex. Titles, Commercial Post-Sale, Arbitration)

  • May be client facing

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year auction experience required, 3+ years preferred

  • Ability to articulate complex issues at a high level and translate them into layman’s terms

  • Professional communication skills

  • Strong organization and attention to detail

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Effectively uses technology (phone, computer, MS Office)

Preferred:

  • Future leaders incumbent or graduate

  • Experience de-escalating situations

  • Builds relationships quickly
