What You’ll Do

You’ll play a pivotal role in the continued stability and growth of our organization. As a leader and mentor to your team, you’ll develop and execute strategies to exceed sales goals for RapidScale product lines. Other responsibilities include:

  • Provides executive oversight to the entire RapidScale sales team which includes Direct, In-Direct, and Account Management sales channels.

  • Develops strategies and plans to drive market growth, minimize costs and maximize revenue generation potential.

  • Engages with RapidScale & Cox Business leadership and partner business leaders to define and execute opportunities for mutual benefit and business growth.

  • The role is responsible for managing and growing the existing book of business.

  • Leads the sales cycle with partners, from strategic approach to defining solution opportunities to business modeling and negotiation.

  • Leads complex contract negotiations with clients and cross-functional leaders including legal, finance, & operations.

  • Develops incentive and recognition programs to drive sales performance.

  • Monitors the industry and the market for trends, challenges and opportunities.

  • Plays an active role in key community organizations representing RapidScale & Cox brands accordingly.

  • Develops strategies and financial business case for market level investments enabling long-term growth.

  • Partners cross-functionally with regional senior teams.

Who You Are

You’re a confident but humble leader. You’re a sales aficionado with knowledge to share. You also have the following qualifications:

Minimum :

  • BS/BA degree and 14+ years of relevant experience with at least 7 years’ experience in a leadership role (equivalent combination of education/work experience will be considered)

    • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the cloud and/or managed IT services industry

  • Demonstrates ability to lead sales teams with complex, solutions-selling motions.

  • Has keen understanding of cloud managed services industry and competitive landscape.

  • Works with cross-functional marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies for each sales channel
