CAMFS is currently hiring a Body Shop Mechanic in Pennsburg, PA to join our Shop Team to support future growth of the Company. If you are looking for a new place to call home, we would love to talk to you!
Examine damaged vehicles and perform basic auto body repairs on various commercial trucks, buses, and trailers.
Prep truck / vehicle bodies and components for painting.
Performing collision and wreck repair.
Fill depressions with body filler, patch holes and work with Fiberglass.
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
Remove damaged fenders, panels.
Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment.
Straighten bent frames and components.
File, grind and sand repaired surfaces.
Refinish repaired surface.
Repair or replace defective mechanical parts.
Support ad-hoc projects related to the CAMFS priorities and initiatives.
1+ years of related vehicle body and / or collision repair experience and/or associate formal training.
High School Diploma or and equivalent combination of education is a plus but not required.
Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform job functions.
Basic welding skills are required.
Fiberglass repair knowledge a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative.
Positive attitude, Safety conscious, good instincts, and self-motivation
