The Cox Automotive Editorial Team is seeking a summer intern to focus on creating helpful advice content for Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader. Working closely with our SEO team to discover and exploit new content opportunities across both sites, you’ll end the summer with a wealth of valuable and highly transferable skills and experience.
This internship will allow you to gain knowledge from some of the best and get high-profile editorial experience, including bylines on Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader. The knowledge you leave with will be extremely beneficial when searching for the right job in the future. Cox Automotive provides an inclusive and supportive environment that team members appreciate.
Learn to perform keyword research, and use those skills to grow our targeted keyword portfolio
Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities in content pieces to displace competitors
Use digital research tools to identify search trends and then create content that optimizes search results
Publish original high-quality content within SEO Best Practices guidelines
Partner with SEO to publish opportunities that grow our organic audience
Write compelling meta elements to drive CTR
Partner with SEO to benchmark and measure results
Currently enrolled in Journalism, Communications, or a related undergraduate degree program.

Content creation, developing content experience preferred.
- Hourly pay rate is $22.79 - $34.23/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
