Job Responsibilities:

Conduct inspection of support equipment for proper working order
-
Conduct presale walk to ensure vehicles are in assigned lane as scheduled
-
Maintain the run list indicating vehicles with no keys, late vehicle entries, and/or late number changes
-
Respond to customer and dealer inquiries and concerns
-
Oversee parking sold vehicles and re-parking non-sold vehicles
-
Report theft, lot damage, or any safety concerns to management
-
Perform various clerical and administrative duties relating to vehicle recon fulfillment.

Prepping, cleaning, washing & waxing cars.
-
Removing defects, and assisting with painting and minor repairs from time to time.

Keeping Tools and Equipment in excellent shape.
-
Observing safety & health procedures.
-
Completing work orders & other vehicle documentation
-
Booking vehicles in and out of inventory systems.
-
Perform data entry and verify customer vehicle information is accurately recorded in the system and that vehicles are properly tagged with a work order.

Coordinate with the reconditioning shop areas for vehicle repairs and post charges to appropriate account in a timely manner.

Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move area to the defined standard established by lot operations leadership.

Set an example in behavior by championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.

Implement all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.

Be a visible representation of Manheim’s safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures, and modeling the behaviors related to these directives.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Able to work in many adverse outside weather conditions and be on your feet for a considerable amount of your shift.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the Auction business and/or driving experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- A basic understanding of automobiles required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Strong professional customer service with a sense for urgency.
- Ability to multi-task and be well organized. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles constantly.
- Ability to walk long distances.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
