Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical leadership to the Agile Delivery Teams, guiding the team in architecture, design, and implementation decisions related to Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud Services.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Delivery Teams to translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions, considering the capabilities and limitations of the Oracle technologies. Develop mid-level solution designs that incorporate architectural direction with existing or new business processes and application-specific solutions.
- Feature Readiness and Collaboration: Verify that all Solution Design exit criteria are met before presenting Features to delivery teams, addressing any questions or ambiguities. Collaborate closely with the System Architect to share knowledge about emerging technologies and technical solutions, fostering cross-functional learning within the delivery teams.
- Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration across teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of technical solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality measures to maintain high-quality code, system performance, and data integrity.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues that could impact the successful delivery of the team’s objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the delivery, optimizing processes, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.
- Development Standards and Practices: Support and refine development standards and practices to improve delivery capabilities and quality.
- Architecture Design Execution: Execute architecture design activities for new solutions, ensuring alignment with operational considerations and seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Detailed Functional and Technical Knowledge of Oracle's Payables modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience implementing and supporting ERP applications and integrations (Oracle EBS).
- Leadership experience in motivating teams to execute commitments.
- Excellent communication skills, strong business knowledge and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of the project management and Agile methodology process. (SAFe Agilist Certification is a plus)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Power Platform, Power Automate) a Plus
- EXCEL/TypeScript is a Plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate project goals to staff.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead others and to provide professional leadership to more junior Managers, PM’s and Analysts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources across multiple projects in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and follow-up skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to relate well with others and create a positive work environment.
