Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise the day-to-day flow, productivity and movement of vehicles safely on the lot.

Support Detail, Mechanic Shop, Retail and Body Shop by delivering vehicles promptly for services required.

Monitor the flow of vehicles to and from each shop, maintaining the expectations of each account / client.

Schedule training and Schedule staffing.

Work alongside teams in all elements.

Overseeing and processing any reports made by security team. Reports such as medical calls, lot damages, stolen/missing items (i.e., Keys, Radios, personal property). Making sure the reports are inputted into the system, clients/ customers are notified, and emergency situations that emergency contacts are notified.

Overseeing scheduled hours for all team members. Tools provided to help schedule and monitor hours.

Communicate daily with team on daily task as well as debrief at end of shift on process for the day.

Develop and monitor team daily goals. Review and revise monthly if needed.

Develop and maintain relations ship with Commercial and Dealer Services departments. Communicate on challenges and wins with them daily, regarding Sale Day issues or concerns. Reporting issues in a timely manner, understanding they will need clear information to report to the customer/client.

Coaching and developing team lead, service truck drivers (both gas truck and tow truck) daily.

Overseeing and Supervising equipment upkeep. Ensuring mechanic shop or body shop is informed of any services needed or due on all vehicles. Cleanliness of vehicle and offices is a must.

Effectively lead the team and setting the standards of code of conduct and behavior set by Cox Automotive and Manheim Ohio.
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field.

OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience.

OR 7 years’ experience in a related field.

Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
-
Experience in the automobile industry or the Auction business is strongly recommended.

Strong communication and interaction skills are required.

Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Solid foundation of computer skills (Microsoft Suite, AS400) and ability to learn new programs.

Must be well-organized, thorough, and attentive to details.

Must be a self-starter able to work problems through to successful completion.

Ability to work well with others and maintain focus and productivity under compressed deadlines is required.

Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
