Cox Automotive is hiring a Deal Management, Financial Analyst. The role, reporting to Senior Director Deal Management, will play a key role in the evolution of Deal and Portfolio Management for Buy/Sell Transactions. The initial scope will a high-level approach to connect all workstreams across multi solution selling, including buy/sell tracking, account maintenance, opportunity management and cancellations. This will require partnerships across Enterprise Dealers Solutions (EDS), Retail Strategic Sales (RSS) and our Field Sales Teams. In time, the focus will shift to driving scalability as we see more efficiency gains through a more streamlined, automated approach and an increased ability to leverage other partners across the Cox Automotive landscape. This role will require a highly detailed and process driven individual who enjoys working in a fast paced and ever changing environment.


  • Partner with Deal Management, Mulit-Solution Sales, Retail Solutions Sales, and Enterprise Dealers Solutions teams to fill gaps and build resources that drive deeper insights about dealer groups as they identify strategies and develop end-to-end plans to serve our Strategic and Field clients with their acquisitions.

  • Support Reporting capabilities across multiple stakeholders for Buy/sell visibility, including Sales, Client Data Management, Sales Operations, Billing, Performance Management and Implementation.

  • Support complex and customized deal structures, including implementation, execution, optimization, socialization and scalability.

  • Determining effectiveness, whether Cox Automotive and/or client are compliant, and for proactive identification of changes needed.

  • Vet potential market impact

  • Manage Add Ons requested or identified Post contracting.

  • Build tools to monitor deals that are engaged in the Buy/sell process, identifying areas for improvement, risk, and growth

  • Conceptualize, build, and maintain proactive reporting and analytics to support the MSS Buy/Sell Process.

  • Partner with the Director of Sales and MSS Teams to validate and correct contractual errors prior to processing to implementation.

  • Work with Deal Management team on tracking of key initiatives, working to build out a database of best practices, successes, and failures as we attempt to operationalize and evolve into a more sophisticated deal management function.

  • Help drive necessary content to drive presentation used for deal escalation to Steering Committees where we gain organizational feedback and approvals on new monetization approaches to drive profit


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or information technology with 2+ years of business and/or financial analysis experience. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with generally 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.

  • Proven track record in operating in a support capacity in a high functioning sales environment

  • ​Collaboration and communication will be a key to success in this role

  • Demonstrated attention to detail working through complex projects
