Cox Automotive EV Battery Solutions is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to EV battery lifecycle management. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Technician II to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in the practical implementation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

   - Coordinate electrical projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

   - Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

2. Development Support:

   - Assist in the assembly, and testing of electrical circuits and systems under the guidance of electrical engineers.

   - Collaborate with the engineering team to build and improve prototypes.

3. Testing and Troubleshooting:

   - Conduct thorough testing of electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure functionality and reliability.

   - Utilize practical troubleshooting skills to address and solve complex problems.

4. Documentation:

   - Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for electrical designs.

   - Assist in preparing technical reports, manuals, and other documentation as needed.

5. Quality Assurance:

   - Implement and follow quality control processes to maintain high standards in the production of electrical systems and components.

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns.

6. Regulatory Compliance:

   - Stay informed about industry standards and regulations, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.

   - Support the team in obtaining necessary certifications and approvals.

7. Continuous Improvement:

   - Identify opportunities for process improvement in electrical engineering practices.

   - Contribute to the implementation of best practices within the department.

Qualifications:

- Associate degree or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician or Soldering Technician, with at least 3 years experience.

- Proficient in using industry-standard tools and software for electrical testing and assembly.

- Solid understanding of electrical standards.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in leading small teams is a plus.
