The Senior Business Services Specialist has an in-depth knowledge and is proficient and an expert in multiple areas. This role provides daily support to the training team and is the point of contact for the scheduling of technicians into classes at the Cox Automotive Technician Training Centers. The Senior Business Services Specialist may lead a specific process and procedure. This role requires little supervision and is self-motivated.

What You’ll Do:  

Provides business services within a designated department, function or process area. Duties are primarily transactional and may include services such as office support; paperwork/documentation preparation, filing, and submission; inventory tracking.  

The Senior Business Services Specialist will:  

  • Communicate the training schedules with the various auctions. 

  • Track and generate reports on the outcomes of all training sessions. 

  • Maintain training roster. 

  • Collect and evaluate feedback from technicians and management to identify areas requiring additional training or support. 

  • Understand the curriculum, communicate benefits, and encourage technician participation. 

  • Inform employees about scheduled training sessions and track their progress. 

  • Assist in guiding auctions to make travel arrangements for students attending training sessions. 

  • All other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma/GED  

  • 5 years’ experience in a related field.  

  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to become proficient in proprietary software. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment under time-sensitive requirements 

  • Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written) and ability to perform professionally 

What We Look For (Preferred):  

  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office products 

  • Experience coordinating and overseeing travel plans for numerous individuals 

The Senior Business Services Specialist may also:  

  • Maintain the community of practice website. 

  • Share upcoming courses prior to the rollout 

  • Communicate monthly and year-to-date training results.
