What You’ll Do    

You’ll learn about Cox Automotive (and the automotive industry at-large) through a series of functional and market-based project assignments, specifically aligned to your area of study and aspirations. You’ll receive on-the-job training plus targeted development opportunities to help you engage with your strengths and crystalize your career interests. Here’s a peek at the experiences that await you:   

  • Working on real business projects.   

  • Building relationships and interacting with cross-functional teams, internal and external customers and key stakeholders.    

  • Managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.    

  • Analyzing business situations, multiple subsets of data and problem solving.    

  • Networking with peers and professionals in the industry.   

  • Act as a team member within the Asset Management Team. 

  • Analyze data and perform computation for fixed asset capitalization. 

  • Ensure the accuracy of the fixed asset subledger. 

  • Actively manage and report construction-in-progress activity. 

  • Assist in the preparation of balance reconciliations. 

  • Perform ad hoc special projects.

  • Currently a college student pursuing a BA/BS degree in a related field.     

  • Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in ambiguity.    

  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.    

  • Strong communication, relationship building and organization skills.    

  • Computer skills which include Microsoft Office suite and online research ability.    

  • US work authorization (sponsorship is not available for this program).

** Note: Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
