Description

Work shift available are:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.

  • Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.

  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.

  • Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.

  • Planning and scheduling repairs.

  • Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard. (HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical equipment.)

  • Ability to respond to emergency and non-emergency issues in timely matter.

  • Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry. Such as replace light bulbs, ballasts or fixtures. Repair or replace door locks. Replace or repair plumbing fixtures such as flush valves, faucets.

  • Skilled in the building maintenance trade and familiar with tools used in this position.

  • Work outside on lot clean-up and lot repair, preventative maintenance due to inclement weather.

  • Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.
  • OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Skill and knowledge to perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs required.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Good communication and organizational skills required.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
  • Medium strength. Ability to lift 1-50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Custodial duties experience
