Cox Enterprises is currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst, Compensation to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia .  This is a hybrid role, and the schedule is a mix of work-from-office/work-from-home. 

Your Role:

The Senior Data Analyst, Compensation requires a unique blend of data analysis and compensation knowledge, focusing on leveraging technical skills to support and enhance our compensation systems and processes. The ideal candidate will be analytical, tech-savvy, curious, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Job Summary:

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to inform compensation decisions, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational goals.

  • Maintain and update compensation templates, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the organization.

  • Create and manage job codes, aligning with internal framework and compensation structures.

  • Perform research and maintenance to ensure our compensation tracking and intake databases are up-to-date and functioning optimally.

  • Collaborate with compensation partners to gather requirements and deliver compensation project work that supports organizational objectives.

  • Enhance and maintain tracking systems for job pricing, ensuring all roles are competitively and accurately priced according to market data.

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify compensation trends, disparities, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide analytical support for compensation-related projects, including but not limited to salary surveys, compensation reviews, and job evaluations.

  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in related field (i.e. Compensation, Human Resources, Financial Analysis, Data Analytics).  The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

  • Strong quantitative reasoning skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business, Mathematics, etc.). 


Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.


The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
