What You’ll Do
As a patient and strategizing salesperson, you’re in it for the long haul. You’ll focus on inbound sales initiatives, handling telephony, data, wireless and video solutions for both new and existing small and medium business customers. You’ll also develop spot-on strategies for selling bundled services. Other responsibilities include:

Making outbound calls to existing customers to upsell additional products and services.

Handling customer renewals as they arise.
-
Listening to customers to understand their needs.
-
Developing proposals and delivering presentations to new clients based on their business needs.

Negotiating pricing, service level and terms and conditions with clients.

Determining serviceability of client location.
-
Working with sales engineers to determine appropriate solutions and address any issues regarding installation or service.

Performing ROI assessments to determine if a sale is profitable.

Following up to qualify prospects and request the return of signed contracts.

Educating customers on installed products, service offerings, billing and charges.
-
Developing alternate lead sources and soliciting referrals from customers.
-
Working with sales support administration to complete sales orders.
-
Providing customer intelligence and feedback to marketing department.
Who You Are
You can drum up business like nobody’s…um, business. You operate with both charisma and integrity, all the way to the finish line. You also have the following qualifications:
Minimum:
-
5 years of experience in a related field,
-
OR a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in a related field,
-
OR an AS/AA degree, a BS/BA degree or certification in a related discipline.
-
Experience working with computers and common business software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Preferred:
-
An AS/AA or technical certification in related discipline.
-
2 years of experience working in a position that requires meeting sales goals.
-
2 years of experience selling by telephone.
-
6 months of experience selling telecommunications products and services.

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is $16.83 - $25.29/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $42,900.00.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
