What You’ll Do
This position works with clients and location operational groups to ensure the sale runs smoothly, operationally and administratively. Work closely with the manager to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. Promote and educate customers on the various products and services provided by Manheim.
Here’s a closer look at how you’ll make an impact:
- Represent Dealer Services with a primary focus on major account sellers.
- Promote efficient inventory management, including but not limited to, vehicle registration, vehicle movement, pre & post sale issue resolution with a high-level focus on organization and effective communication.
- Use tools, including but not limited to, AS400, Workbench, Web focus, Smart Approve, Salesforce, OCC Tool, etc.
- Proactively review inventory for proper announcements and communicate with account representatives via phone & email to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and are ready for in-lane and online sale (i.e., approval for repairs, frame checks, mileage, subseries, etc.).
- Coordinate with shops and lot operations to ensure all work is completed and vehicle records are accurate (i.e., reconditioning, inspections, imaging).
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer problems and issues; serve as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and various auction departments to reconcile problems and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Assist with customer care issues and respond to dealer inquiries, problems or concerns in a professional manner and escalate as necessary.
- Provide training and consultation on our products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are
You can think on your feet and address issues promptly, maintaining a smooth auction process. You’re committed to following all health and safety procedures and to maintaining strong relationships with dealers. Here’s more on what you have to offer:
Minimum:
- A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination of education and experience, such as a degree or certification in a related discipline or 5 years of experience in a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to perform at a high level and adapt within a fast-paced team environment.
- The ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Vision requirements include being able to see close, far and in color, judge distances and adapt to changes in focus.
Preferred:
- 1 to 3 years of auction experience or 2 to 4 years of dealership experience.
- Previous experience in sales support role.

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $19.18 - $28.80/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
