We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Senior Analyst who will plan, implement, and control the efficient and effective flow and storage of goods, services, and related information from point of origin to point of consumption to meet internal customers’ requirements. You will develop a balanced operational plan that considers demand and supply constraints. Purchases equipment, parts, and related goods and services to meet the needs of the Company, while ensuring inventory levels of local warehouses are maintained within Days on Hand threshold. You will manage the planning of product lifecycle changes.

You should have familiarity with respect to forecasting, inventory optimization and management, sales & operations planning and team interactions.  You have the ability to deliver results by working through other team members while earning the respect and trust of individuals on the team.  You may also have regular interaction and/or represent the department with executive level leadership and requires the individual to have the ability to understand and identify short/long term impacts of planning decisions. 

The Planner shall provide continuous and visible leadership for current and future end-to-end (E2E) supply chain planning processes. You will have accountability for forecast accuracy and delivering forecasts within lead times resulting in achievement of targeted service levels / in stock and inventory days on hand.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions may include the following:

  • Support Consensus Planning process with key stakeholders and boundary partners; actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning processes
  • Act as single point of contact to key business stakeholders or suppliers for materials planning organization
  • Aid in creation of statistical forecast and inventory stocking targets to plan purchase to stock items
  • Work with key stakeholders and business leaders to influence project bill of materials, timing, locations, and plans to enable streamlined supply chain operations
  • Measure and improve forecast accuracy, service level, and inventory days on hand
  • Partner closely with sourcing and other supply chain planning team members to ensure seamless inventory availability
  • Proactively communicate issues with key stakeholder and work collaboratively to determine and execute mitigation plans
  • Serve as procurement/purchasing SME by aiding boundary partners in new vendor setup process, invoice processing, and payment status
  • Serve as liaison to parent company’s Supply Chain organization

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field (i.e., supply chain, business, industrial engineering) The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field no degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in demand and/or supply planning
  • Advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated operational, technology, and business analysis expertise
  • Excellent interpersonal, attention to detail, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Strong data gathering and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with documentation and process implementation.
  • Asset management and inventory controls.
  • May require travel up to 5% of the time

Preferred  

  • Experience creating statistical models
  • APICS certification
  • Oracle supply chain and ERP experience
  • Experience in telecommunications industry

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $70,700.00 - $106,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
