Job Summary:
RapidScale is seeking a project coordinator who will lead, plan, and execute installation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritization, scheduling and execution of installations by working with the customer, internal engineering groups, and their respective IT support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage project schedules
2. Initiate and schedule customer project calls
3. Clearly communicate the installation process and steps included to project stakeholders
4. Assists in gathering technical details of the order from customer and customer’s IT staff/ support
5. Schedule all events and utilize the Project Management system to keep stakeholders up to date
6. Uses systematic approach to track development activity interdependencies and schedules; plans and schedules current activities; adapts as plans are changed due to changes in priorities and requirements
7. Create and manage implementation templates to increase efficiencies
8. Keep clear and concise notes and post them in Project Management system for stakeholders
9. Own Customer Renewal and Deprovision installs
10. Assist other project managers with after hour migrations and activations
11. Assist with less complex installs than the Technical Project Managers
12. Be able to manage up to 40 projects at a time, effectively
13. Manages projects from contract signature through final implementation.
14. Efficiently track and manage billing activities for multiple services across single-site or multi-location installs.

A strong candidate will need the following: Interpersonal Relationship skillsets, strong organizational skills, time management skills, and good phone skills. Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project and Outlook. A college degree, PMP and/or equivalent work experience is desired.
Needed Attributes:
Positive Attitude, Sense of Urgency, and a creative mindset. Fantastic organizational skills a must.
Inter-Relationships:
Needs to work well with others in a highly demanding position. This position will require working with several departments and different personalities. This position will require some nighttime and weekend call coverage.
Working Environment:
Fast paced, positive, high energy environment. This position may have high levels of stress due to deadlines and necessity of quick response times.
