This role is critical in delivering seamless partner onboarding, driving technical excellence in conversions and upgrades, and serving as the primary escalation point for high impact enterprise initiatives.

The Senior Analyst partners closely with engineering, product, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure integrations are delivered with precision, reliability, and exceptional customer experience.

Primary Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Integration Leadership

  • Lead planning, architecture discussions, and execution of complex integrations with external lender partners on the Dealertrack platform.

  • Serve as the senior technical liaison for high‑visibility partner implementations and platform migrations.

  • Provide advanced pre‑sales technical consultation to support solution design and ensure alignment with Dealertrack capabilities and partner requirements.

Implementation & Technical Ownership

  • Coordinate, manage, and track all project deliverables using internal tools such as Salesforce and Rally.

  • Oversee upgrades, conversions, and large-scale partner transitions, ensuring minimal disruption and high-quality outcomes.

  • Own escalated issues end-to-end, ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely updates, and complete resolution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, and Support—to execute strategic partner initiatives.

  • Maintain strong relationships with engineering teams to prioritize fixes, enhancements, and production support needs.

Continuous Improvement & Technical Expertise

  • Maintain expertise in Dealertrack products, integration frameworks, and support protocols.

  • Identify and champion process improvements to reduce service issues, accelerate timelines, and improve partner experience.

  • Contribute to best practices, documentation, and standards for integration and support workflows.

Operational Support

  • Support production deployments, partner cutovers, and critical outages as needed, including off-hours and on-call coverage.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to systems integration analysts across the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years experience in a related field.
  • Experience supporting or integrating API-based systems and services.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience managing complex integrations, enterprise partners, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to balance high-volume workload with quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field
  • Knowledge of XML/JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, Certificate management, HTTPS, SFTP, and/or firewall policies.
  • Exposure to software engineering practices or prior hands-on engineering experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Splunk, GitHub, Visual Studio or similar tools.
  • Experience in strategic planning and change management.
