Looking for a role that gets your motor running? As our Lot Operations Supervisor, you’ll take the wheel in overseeing the daily hustle and bustle of our auction lot. You'll be the driving force behind the seamless staging and movement of vehicles, ensuring every car is in its place and ready for action.
What's Under the Hood:
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Lot Management: Ensure smooth operations before and after sales by assisting with day-to-day lot activities.
Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate the workflow of lot drivers, check-in personnel, and lane captains to maintain efficiency and order.
Vehicle Movement Coordination: Oversee the staging of incoming vehicles, making sure they’re properly received, stocked, and parked.
Customer Service: Interact with customers to resolve any issues, ensuring a high level of service.
Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain lot equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Damage Control: Monitor lot conditions and work with the Operations Manager to address any potential problems.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to prepare vehicles for sale, ensuring accurate check-ins and proper vehicle sequencing.
Employee Oversight: Direct lot operations staff, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Assist in performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
Safety Commitment: Promote and follow all safety and health procedures, modeling safe behavior and supporting safety initiatives.
Performance Monitoring: Work with the manager to review staffing levels and departmental performance, developing strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 1 year of experience OR Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience
Safe drivers needed
Effective management, decision-making, organizational and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience in the automobile industry or auction business
Degree in a related discipline

Drug Testing:
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $55,400.00 - $83,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
