Job Description:
- Oversee the receipt, processing, and proper placement of incoming vehicles
- Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment to ensure it is safe and fully functional
- Safely drive vehicles between designated areas on auction premises while following company driving policies and road safety standards
- Stage, line up, and park vehicles in the appropriate order as directed, and locate or reposition vehicles as needed
- Perform basic vehicle support tasks, including inflating tires, accessing locked vehicles, and jump-starting vehicles when necessary; report inoperative vehicles to a supervisor
- Provide support to customers (dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and team members as needed
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following all safety protocols and modeling safe work behaviors
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and programs aligned with Safety Excellence standards
- Report any safety concerns, theft, or lot damage to management promptly
- Coordinate vehicle movement to maintain efficient traffic flow across the lot
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 – 3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Basic computer skills required.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.
Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- 8:00am-5:00pm
- Friday
- 8:00am-1:00pm
Work Environment:
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
Drug Testing:
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
