Serves as a key contributor to the strategy, design, implementation and support for the integration architecture connecting the Xtime fixed-ops portfolio to its OEM partners, third-party providers and dealer management systems. Works closely with business and technology leadership to establish an architectural framework and facilitate the definition of integration strategy, standards, policies and roadmaps. Provides cross-cutting integration architecture coverage across the Xtime portfolio and its net-new delivery teams, partnering with the portfolio’s Principal Architect and the Data, Reporting & Catalog Architect to maintain a coherent architectural direction.

- Drives integration patterns across Xtime teams as a horizontal, pattern-setting authority rather than a single-team assignment.
Primary Duties / Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- Provides architectural advice and consultation across major integration program and solution initiatives.
- Plays a leading role in the integration domain described below.
- May provide support and technical advice in other areas, to help ensure appropriate integration and alignment across company structures and systems.
Integration Architecture
- Drives the architecture and integration patterns for OEM and partner connections (e.g., UVEye), including partner certification and onboarding.
- Owns the DMS surface integration layer across DT, TDK and Reynolds, defining reusable patterns the Xtime teams follow.
- Supports the External Integrations portfolio of work — e.g., OEM partnership and certification expansion, manufacturer implementation programs, and third-party device/provider integrations.
- Defines integration standards, contracts and interface specifications, and leads the associated working groups.
Enterprise Architecture
- Actively drives the definition of engineering standards and technologies/frameworks for integration and leads associated working groups.
- Assists in the identification, analysis and resolution of technology, information management, product development and associated infrastructure problems.
- Partners with supported teams/organizations to manage rollout schedules and technology/architectural releases, ensuring business needs are supported in all phases of the process.
- Recommends improvements to technology and processes that increase organizational effectiveness.
Systems Architecture
- Provides systems architecture advice and consultation across major integration program and solution initiatives.
- Offers guidance on technical aspects of infrastructure systems development and integration to ensure strategies, roadmaps, policies, standards and practices are properly aligned.
- Defines subsystems and their interfaces, allocating responsibilities, understanding solution deployment and communicating requirements for interactions with the overall solution context.
- Plays a crucial role in pre- and post-program increment planning.
- Collaborates with suppliers and partners, making sure technical expectations are understood and achieved.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field; or a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 years’ experience in a related field; or 18 years’ experience in a related field with no degree.
- 10+ years' experience designing reference architectures, architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture) and integration standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, API Gateways). Proven experience in multi-cloud strategies, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and hybrid cloud security.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- 5+ years architecture delivery and storytelling with ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including business and technology leadership
- 5+ years in creating and communicating strategies, capabilities and solutions using architecture models, reference architectures, frameworks, diagrams and viewpoints.
- Demonstrated enterprise-scale platform implementation experience
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving large-scale platform initiatives.
- Automotive industry background or interest, ideally with a focus on DMS and OEM integrations

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $122,600.00 - $204,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
