Cox Fleet's Strategic Planning team works with business leaders to shape priorities, translate them into executable strategies, and own their delivery. This Analyst II role supports project and process managers to achieve optimal outcomes for major initiatives: you'll diagnose problems and recommend solutions across a complex, cross-functional organization.
Specific Responsibilities
- Rapidly understand business processes and challenges by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable analytics and data product opportunities.
- Proactively seek and implement opportunities to use AI and machine learning to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and automate data analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develops recommendations to streamline, reduce costs, enhance effectiveness, improve workflows or improve the customer experience outcomes of targeted processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, acting as a consultative partner to business leaders, product teams, and clients.
- Conducts business diagnostics to identify, quantify, and prioritize specific change targets.
- Analyzes data and workflow processes, and identifies issues, roadblocks, and areas for efficiency / effectiveness improvement.
- Works with business leadership to understand current objectives, operational processes, gaps and challenges.
- Delivers recommendations to process owners / stakeholders.
- Engages with Strategic Planning colleagues, business owners and other stakeholders to craft and execute process improvement project plans.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field
- Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and consulting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build partnerships across technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel, up to 25% of the time.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $67,100.00 - $100,700.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
