Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready and parked on-spot on-time for sale.
Performs basic client services duties such as monitoring vehicle reconditioning processes, supporting client team, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth auction operations.
Educates on company products and services
With assistance from more senior peers and multiple auction departments, reviews sales lineup vehicles, recommending and coordinating reconditioning services, and conducting condition report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses.
Develops a foundational understanding of auction services concepts and methodologies including but not limited to condition report data and the vehicle inspection process.
Basic knowledge of computers software including Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and other internal business technology platforms
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field with minimum of 1 year in automotive industry or related field
Prior experience vehicle reconditioning and or general auto body knowledge is a plus
Team-based interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record is required
Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission is preferred
Drug Testing:
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $24.09 - $36.11/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
