This position involves gaining a foundational understanding of Commercial Services concepts and methodologies while actively engaging with clients and various auction departments. Responsibilities include conducting imaging audits, supporting the Commercial team in document identification for audits, and, under guidance, performing basic Commercial Services duties such as monitoring vehicle sales processes and communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth auction operations. The role encompasses client communication, education on company products and services, reviewing sales lineup vehicles, coordinating transportation, and conducting Auto Check reporting and Condition Report reviews.
What You'll Do:
Gains familiarity with Commercial Services concepts, practices, and methodologies. May interact with clients and other departments within the auction to answer basic questions.
Conducts basic imaging audits to ensure photos meet the clients’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Supports the Commercial team with identifying documents needed for account audits and review such as CRs, invoices, transportation orders, etc.
With guidance from a more Senior Commercial Services Specialist, performs basic Commercial Services duties, including: Monitoring vehicle sales processes, communicating with lane, department managers, national commercial sales teams and other coordinators to ensure vehicles cross the auction block or are effectively re-run on sale day,
Communicating with clients to understand expectations, perceived issues, and If bid sales,
Educating national clients on company products and services (primarily recon),
Reviewing vehicles in the sales lineup, locating missing vehicles and working with account representatives to ensure vehicles are ready for sale with appropriate imaging and announcements.
Coordinates vehicle transportation, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of emerging issues.
Run Auto Check reporting to ensure inventory has required announcements.
Review Condition Reports to capture required announcements (Structural, Flood, True Miles Unknown, AS IS – NAAA guidelines for miles and age), Branded Title, Manufacturer’s Buyback, etc.
Generate file jackets for client audits containing condition reports and all invoices for performed work and transportation.
Demonstrates professionalism and sincere appreciation for the business relationships that have been established amongst the client and Manheim.
Assist with customer care issues and responds to commercial client inquiries, problems, or concerns in a professional manner, escalating as necessary.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field OR Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
Strong administrative skills and ability to use Excel and other Microsoft software.
2-3 years’ experience working in customer service roles.

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
