Responsible for the detailed coordination of the flow of vehicles between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet requirements of clients in support of the business operations.
Serves as senior level Vehicle Operations Logistics Coordinator.
Contacts customers to determine and/or verify vehicle availability and condition
Schedules vehicle pick-up and delivery with customers and transporters.
Plans appropriately for daily work and projects, including work of other team members.
Reconciles Logistics related issues that may arise.
Ensures customers, transporters, managers and others are advised of problems or obstacles in a timely and organized fashion.
Monitors and reports on customer compliance and transporter performance.
Compiles vehicle transportation related data and generate reports.
Serves as a coach and mentor to less experienced team members.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience.
OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
Preferred:
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues and problems.
Track record of taking initiative in managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily at all levels within the organization.
Ability to partner well with colleagues in a matrixed work environment.
Ability to work independently and to undertake responsibilities with minimal guidance.
Adapting approach and comfortable with ambiguity.
Must be adept at handling complex situations and businesses.

Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
