Job Description:
- Working knowledge of plumbing, including basic repairs, leaks, fixtures, toilets, valves, and water lines.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, including outlets, switches, lighting, breakers, and basic troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of carpentry, including doors, drywall, shelving, hardware, and general building repairs.
- Experience with general facility maintenance and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions, manuals, and work orders.
- Strong work ethic, attendance, and reliability.
- Hungry to learn and willing to expand skills in all areas of facility maintenance.
- Must be a strong team player who works well with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
- Willingness to assist team members and contribute to completing department goals.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting the maintenance team when needed.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various facility areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $22.02 - $33.08/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
