Responsible for overseeing productivity, service-level performance, employee training, and coaching activities across both Vehicle Check In and Imagining departments. Because the operation runs 24 hours a day and supports a sizable workforce, dedicated supervisory coverage is required to maintain operational continuity, ensure compliance with established standards, provide timely support, and drive overall team performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervises quality control activities to assure accurate, timely and completion of check-in reports and or client requests.
- Performs physical checks on random vehicles. Provides detailed and timely feedback to employees on check-in issues.
- Administers equipment and maintains inventory supplies used in the department.
- Assures that account specific guidelines concerning check-in are being followed. Maintains knowledge of account specific needs and communicates changes to departmental employees.
- Prepares daily reports by account to determine priorities for the day (rebook)
- Provide quality service and interact with dealers to resolve customer complaints or any other problems that may occur.
- Maintains communication with other departments and management team providing relevant information to coordinate activities of the department and ensure high quality of service to both internal and external customers.
- Supervise and direct the work of check-in employees by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and examining work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Assist manager in counseling and disciplining employee, monitoring and evaluating employee job performance, and conducting performance appraisals
- Work with manager to review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement.
- Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
Qualifications
Minimum
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience
- Excellent skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Preferred
- Degree in related discipline strongly desired
- Experience in industry desired

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $55,600.00 - $83,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
