What You’ll Do
You’ll spend your day behind the wheel, helping ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time. You will:
- Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
- Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.
- Stage, organize and park vehicles in the correct order based on direction from supervisors or team leaders.
- Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
- Prepare vehicles for movement by performing basic tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles.
- Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
- Provide helpful, friendly support to customers, dealers, account representatives, rental agencies and coworkers.
- Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.
- May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous auction experience
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to walk long distances
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is $16.74. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
