Key Responsibilities:
- Define specific parts identified by customers (Repair Order) to be ordered and replaced on their vehicles during the recon processes and communicate information to Procurement staff for order placement.
- Collaborate with recon technicians to Identify specific parts required during the recon/repair process and communicate information to Procurement staff for order placement.
- Track, receive, inventory, and distribute all parts in a timely manner to meet all customer vehicle delivery expectations.
- Communicate any incorrect parts or supplies to Procurement in a timely manner and manage return timing.
- Maintain all shop supply inventory levels at acceptable levels (ordered Through Procurement) as directed by management.
- Secure and control all parts and supply inventory to minimize loss or shrinkage.
- Maintain neat and orderly workspace.
- Wear and use appropriate safety equipment at all times while working in specific areas.
- Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Maintain, process and store invoices and credits.
- Create snow ticket for Approved wholesale parts-update tracker/ VCF.
- Order and track P card parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in parts ordering in the automotive field is strongly preferred.
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of automotive parts/accessories.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Client-driven with strong attention to detail.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb.
- Ability to constantly enter and exit vehicles.
- Ability to lift 1 - 15 pounds (i.e., starters, alternators, A/C units, etc).
- Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks.

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.22 - $27.36/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
