The Sales Support Specialist II provides courteous, accurate, and efficient support for all trailer sales activities, ensuring a positive experience for both internal and external customers. This role supports multiple branch personnel and assists with related rental functions and administrative tasks.
This is an on-site role and the shift for this position is Mon-Fri 8:00 AM- 4:30PM
What you’ll do:
- Ensure a professional and positive company presentation with customers, suppliers, and employees
- Generate all bookings for the trailer sales team utilizing the Great Dane system
- Generate initial discount and special pricing requests for the trailer sales team utilizing the Great Dane system
- Manage Great Dane orders by tracking and updating order status, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with sales and administrative teams to ensure complete documentation, accurate sales files, and timely invoicing
- Oversee and track delivery of new and used equipment, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely and successful completion
- Generate LPOs for freight and other transportation-related expenses
- Participate in weekly and annual sales meetings as required or assigned
- Participate in vendor and product training sessions when offered
- Develop knowledge and understanding of product specifications, features, and benefits across all product lines
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Administration

Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a related field (general office experience); or a High school diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a related field; or an AS/AA degree, BS/BA degree or certification in a related discipline
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Ability to support pricing and margin expectations while meeting customer requirements
- Effective time management and strong self-motivation skills
- Basic understanding of negotiation, strategic planning, marketing, and problem resolution
Drug Testing:
To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
