Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting technology issues as needed
- Maintain Inventory control of actual GPS units
- Maintain real time inventory control of vehicles on property
- Find low battery trackers and replace as needed
- Find unassociated trackers and re-associating to vehicles
- Maintain the geofenced lot map and verify it matches lot location in AS400
- Reviewing auto lot location update accuracy with GPS trackers
- Subject matter expert on helping clients and obtaining feedback on the use of the GPS technology
- Responsible for collecting and sending back all defective trackers to Cox 2M team
- Central point of contact for all auction departments regarding inventory control matters
- Provide point of view to Management team regarding the need to order more trackers
- Maintain the inventory tracker discrepancy list
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

To be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
