The Director, Product Marketing – B2B Retail is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and commercial launch execution for a defined portfolio (Dealer.com, CAMP) of Cox Automotive retail software products and solutions. This role serves as the primary marketing partner for assigned product and business unit leaders, translating complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate with automotive dealers, lenders, and enterprise customers.
This is a commercially minded, cross-functional leadership role that sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing. The Director is expected to deeply understand the customer — their workflows, pain points, and buying behavior — and to use that understanding to drive differentiated positioning, effective sales enablement, and measurable pipeline impact.
As AI continues to reshape automotive retail and the tools that support it, this leader is expected to fluently incorporate AI-powered capabilities into their marketing approach — from AI-informed market research and customer insights to AI-enabled content creation, campaign personalization, and sales enablement at scale.
