Marketing Director

As both an innovation leader at Cox Automotive and a farmer at Whim-Wham Art Farm, I’ve always been fascinated by how technology, sustainability and food intersect. So, when I learned that our parent company, Cox Enterprises, was investing in sustainable agriculture a few years ago, it felt like more than just a milestone for our business — it felt deeply personal.
Then when Cox announced the official launch of Cox Farms in 2024, I felt a jolt of pride. Seeing my company take a leading role in sustainable agriculture makes me feel even more connected to our mission of building a better future for the next generation.

Cox Farms is redefining what it means to grow food responsibly. With more than 700 acres of greenhouse farms under glass and more than 2,500 employees, it’s now the largest greenhouse operator in North America. Through its brands, Mucci Farms and BrightFarms, Cox Farms is delivering fresh, flavorful produce to about 12,000 neighborhood stores, often within 24 hours of harvest. That’s not just impressive; it’s transformative.
As someone who spends weekends tending their own farm, I know firsthand how much care goes into growing something that nourishes people. Cox Farms brings that same care to scale, using advanced greenhouse technology to grow leafy greens, vine crops and salad kits year-round. The result? A more secure, sustainable food supply that’s better for our planet and our communities.

Mucci Farms, which has deep roots in Ontario and decades of growing experience, brings innovation and flavor to every tomato and bell pepper. BrightFarms, meanwhile, is revolutionizing the salad aisle with hydroponic greens that use 80% less water and 95% less shipping fuel than traditional field-grown produce. Together, these brands represent the future of farming — and I’m proud to be part of the Cox family of businesses that’s making it happen.
What excites me most is how Cox Farms aligns with my values. It’s not just about growing food; it’s about growing opportunity. Whether I’m researching innovation at work or harvesting flowers on my own farm, I see the same spirit of possibility in both worlds. Cox Farms is proof that innovation and agriculture don’t just coexist — they thrive together.
